- Seventh Generation Drawstring Kitchen Trash Bags
It's better to recycle rather than adding unnecessary amounts of garbage to already bulging landfills. Not all household trash can be recycled or put into compost. What non-recyclable trash we need to remove from your home that is not already bagged will go into these trash bags. This impressive bag saves natural resources and reduces pollution. It is made of 100% recycled plastic (70% post consumer and 30% pre-consumer). The manufacturer is equally impressive. Seventh Generation won the 2002 Socially Responsible Business Award based on the company's achievements in the areas of business ethics, accountability, governance, financial returns, employment practices, business relationships, products and services, community involvement, and environmental protection.
- Seventh Generation Unbleached Paper Towels
Seventh Generation seems to have made the ultimate in environmentally friendly paper towels. First, no chlorine or dye is used to make these natural brown towels. Instead they take their color from the newspapers, corrugated boxes and phone books that they are made from. Then there is the packaging. These rolls have more than twice the sheets of more common brands so there is less packaging waste. They're compressed so less fuel is used to transport the towels from the warehouse to the buyer. When cleaning house, sometimes a cloth isn't effective or efficient so that's when we use Seventh Generation unbleached paper towels.
- 100% Terry Cotton Covers
These are the covers we use on our shine mop. We usually use two freshly laundered covers per home: one for the kitchen and another for baths. We launder these covers using the Ecover products listed in the laundry products section. Click here for more details on our the laundry products we use.
- All-purpose Cleaning Cloths
We will often use 100% cotton cloths for washing and drying household surfaces or polishing furniture. These lint free cloths are made without dyes or chlorine bleach.
